Bayt Abdullah Children's Hospice (BACCH) is seeking a full time consultant physician in paediatric palliative care to lead and develop hospice care in Kuwait.

BACCH is an exciting and ambitious programme as it is the first fully comprehensive children's palliative care service in the Region. BACCH will provide holistic, multidisciplinary care for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening diseases and their families. This speciality programme aims to provide the five key dimensions in paediatric palliative care: inpatient care, daycare, respite care, home care and outreach support to hospitals. Our staff work collaboratively with paediatric and sub specialist staff throughout the Ministry of Health to ensure care provision at a national level, as well as developing an education and research programme for Kuwait.

To develop and implement a sales plan according to the GM sales strategy to fulfil the company’s sales objectives and profitability.

Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

Provides timely feedback to the General Manager regarding performance.

Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing recommendations in conjunction with the Key account teams on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

Creates and conducts proposal presentations for new customers.

Assists Key account teams in preparation of proposals and presentations.

Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Insures that all Sales Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.

Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.

Port Captain

To manage timely berthing at the port ensuring maximum productivity and minimum port-stay. Facilitate communication between terminal operators, port authorities and UASC and its partners.

المهارات

- Degree level qualification or similar sea-going qualification or extensive practical experience with industry related qualifications.
- At least 8 years in port operation having direct interface with ports/terminals
- Significant experience in the container, general cargo and bulk shipping industry
- Knowledge of port/terminal operations port operations, particularly stevedoring, or general operations
- Good leadership and communication skills to establish effective working relationships
- Strong Communication, Interpersonal and networking Skills
- Good Problem Solving ability & Patient attitude
- Good command over written and spoken English (German/Duch/French Language Skill is an advantage)
- Ability to negotiate and persuade
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Good computer (MS Office) skills
